brooks barry, singer/songwriter from nashville, just released his new track 'used to being lonely'

Pop, singer songwriter and producer Brooks Barry is a consummate, hopeless romantic. His writing is known for its passion and honesty. He released his first single in the beginning of 2019 'Dirt on Your Dress', which caught the heart of many. Later that year he followed up by releasing the 5 song EP 'She Loves Me Not'. His current goal is to release a new single every month of 2020 and for the foreseeable future.
 
Recently announced is his next single 'Used to Being Lonely' which was released on 25 August 2020.  “I wrote 'Used to Being Lonely' to capture the internal struggle I often feel when I start to find myself interested in someone. I want all that a relationship can offer, but I hesitate to open up my heart. Partly, I hold back out of a fear of rejection and partly because I am accustomed to the feeling of being lonely. But the song takes you through a process with a hopeful ending."
 
Brooks engages his listeners with raspy, yet smooth vocal, tasty melodies, and a tone in his voice that reaches the depths of your soul, expressing those feelings of vulnerability we can all relate to. Yet his songs make us hopeful as they move us closer to where we want to be. Like a good friend, they lift us through our hard times encouraging us to believe that a fulfilling relationship awaits.
