award winning singer-songwriter masha novik releases her nostalgic new single 'i see you'11/24/2020
Masha is a singer-songwriter, living in the UK. Her music is a dreamy blend of psychedelia, dark pop and melodic sweetness. Dreamy atmospheric guitar and soft mystery of her voice will take you deeply in a nostalgia mode. She is a Songwriting and Performance student of one of the prestigious music universities in the UK – Paul McCartney’s pet project, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
As a young musician she took part in popular TV shows and international festivals in Europe. She came 2nd in the National Final for Junior Eurovision Song Contest (both in 2011, 2015), won 1st place at Belarussian biggest international festival-contest Slavianski Bazaar-2009, represented Belarus at the International Festival of Language and Culture, performed at Moscow's prestigious "Song of the Year" concert in Kremlin palace, debuted her original song in the National Opera of Ukraine. She gained 3 Presidential Grand Awards for winning international music contests. In 2017 Masha signed a recording agreement with an American label GFI music, the head of which is Tony Gross - a voting member of Recording Academy (Grammy Awards) -- before moving to the UK to further her musical studies at LIPA. Now working as a solo artist, Masha has just released her new single 'I See You', which she wrote and recorded during the lockdown in her home studio in Liverpool/UK. The song is a spiral of loosing yourself to someone who’s lost in a completely different way. She is also performing live with her musical project Afternoon Sisters, collaborating with many worldwide musicians and preparing for releasing more music.
